Guild Wars 2

As we all know, Guild Wars 2 runs on one single thread. This hurts AMD users like me that use 6 – 8 core AMD processors. If the developers put a setting in that would automatically detect how many cores you have and run different things in different threads, then the game would run a lot better. I have a really good graphics card and no matter the settings I choose my fps is always at 23 – 30 everywhere except WvWvW where it is around 20. This wouldn’t be that hard for the devs to do.

sounds great to me as I too am an AMD user both cpu and gpu.

The game is multi threaded,it just doesn’t utilize all cores to it’s fullest.

By the way, if you want to see how many threads GW2 uses, just look in the task manager of windows. Right now I have 48 (yes, forty eight) threads running for the GW2 client just standing there in Lion’s Arch.
