when I press enter or change chat channel the chat box is activated, as mouse clicks doesn’t deactivate it, it can really get confusing in the middle of a fight, which happened alot, so this little feature of deactivating chat when you click somewhere else with the mouse would be very helpful

Um, it does. At least, mine does. If I click on anything that’s not the mini-map or the chat field, it de-activates the chat…

This gets really bad for me sometimes, I use Shift for Dodge and I click the Powers with left click on the mouse. I’ve died before because the Shift+Power opens chat and sends the name of that power to the chat and locks me out of moving. It can be very frustrating at times.

YES! I was just about to make a thread for that. That happens to me all the time, and has gotten me killed many times. I also use WSAD for moving, and left SHIFT to dodge (since its easy to hit the SHIFT key with your left hand then), but often I want to attack right as I come out of dodge. This means that dodge and the clicking of a skill often happen at the same time… and this opens the chat window.
