Im sorry but Some of the textures of things are so ugly some of them look like they were done in 5 mins.

This is really awful when you look at such good stuff then you look at a tree and want to barf.

why not make a modding kit for texture packs?

Yes please, then I can make textures bright pink so it’s obvious where players are or where stealth skills get used and such.

I don’t think you realise how difficult such a system would be to implement and moderate. Without going into the technical limitations of such a system in a persistent MMO (where we would have to update constantly to see everyones custom textures) the fact that people would have the ability to draw obscene symbolism or implied nudity onto their characters means we’ll never see this implemented.

I’m going to assume you silly people never played the original Guild Wars.

That’s not supported by ANet so though it is technically possible to make your own modifications they wouldn’t implement the system themselves.
