How frustrating it is to leave the starting Lvl 1-15 area with around 30+ copper harvesting sickles and 50+ copper axes and picks. I am perfectly willing to buy new tools for the upgraded resources, but seeing as how I have little use of copper tools after the initial territory, I would love to send these tools that I paid for with my in-game money to other characters of mine. This way, I don’t have to trash or sell them, nor do I have to walk aimlessly around in old territories looking for resources with which my tools can be used. So please, allow tools to be account bound, not soulbound.

that and the stupid ‘master X’ tools that seem to only be good for low level zones… that you get at halfway across your story (by which time you’re too high to use them).
What a waste of 125 harvesting tools

This is definitely one of the most annoying things about how these tools work. For crying out loud, its not like we are going to sell these things since they are so cheap and can be bought practically anywhere in the game.

But, to make them soul bound takes the proverbial cake. I created several characters and have them at different levels. All of them have these tools in different numbers. So on my higher level character I had extra iron tools that my lower level character can use – except they are SOUL BOUND and I cannot use them on any other character.

Ridiculous having these things soul bound and not account bound. You can’t even get rid of excess tools unless you destroy them because you cannot sell them back to the vendor.

PLEASE MAKE THESE ACCOUNT BOUND. There, I’ve yelled it out.

Yes, for god sake please.

When a friend of mine joined GW2 I wanted to do her a favor and get her some
tools. But alas, couldn’t send them to her…
