Make WvW less attractive to PvE Farmers
Disagree. One of my favorite things when running away from large groups is baiting them through hostile mobs like Krait or Raptors Even fighting amongst those mobs is fun.
It’s also nice fighting amongst neutral mobs because one careless misfire can get a group of stun-happy Moa Birds attacking the enemy.
It rewards tactical play.
Perhaps the best you can do is eliminate all bonus experience from killing wildlife.
Just get rid of the stupid requirement of WvW for 100% world completion and you’ll free up plenty of spots.

You don’t need or want people like me, sitting back and waiting for you to capture objectives so I can waltz in and grab the POI. I’m not there helping you, I’m just squatting on a WvW slot that someone else, someone who isn’t being a useless tool, could be using. I’m only there for myself. I don’t care what else happens so long as I get what I came for. If the enemy wants an objective I’ve already been to, they are welcome to it. I’ll even hold the gate open for them.
Too bad no one on the design team had the foresight to realize this would happen when they put PvE objectives into a PvP environment. Though I’m sure they’ll figure out a way soon enough, to auto-kick the chronically disinterested, like myself.

Also get rid of WvWvW kills from monthly achievements please.
Bear in mind some peeps have older pcs. I for example have 5fps during bigger encounters :/
It’s not unplayable, but not very playable too.
Ye wvw kills for monthly is kinda bad idea. Maybe for a PvP monthly.
I disagree with OP. I think the limit issue should be fixed by better coding by Anet.
If the player limit could be increased so there is not a wait, should be very easy by upgrading their servers AND they make a distinction between active PvP players and PvE players – PROBLEM solved.
what I mean by that is that if there is a hard cap of 1000 players on the server capability, say 600 should be reserved for active WvW ie. people attacking or being attacked by other players, say 200 as an in beteen for players who are repairing temporarily AFK etc. and 200 for those actively playing PvE. These numbers are arbitrary, may need dynamic balancing to get it right.

You’re the tiny minority. Most people who want the PVE objectives in PVP do something sane instead of AFKing until they see the point they want open up. Most of us either try to claim the points we need in active PVP, wait for the weekly map shuffles, or transfer to servers where the results are skewed in our favor. What you’re doing is a pure waste of your own time, especially since transfers are free.
Sparkie, most people do not want to transfer servers to get a PvE achievement, I’ve posted about this issue too, the bottom 5 servers for instance, will have an absolutely horrific time getting this achievement because of constantly getting destroyed in WvWvW. The map completion for WvWvW needs to be changed, not only will it make for a better PvP experience but they’ll be less PvE only players in the queue.
