Make WvW like PvP
I’m all for that. It would make WvW a lot less pointless. Especially because they are gonna keep rolling out ascended junk and more infusions with more stats.
In a system where gear keeps getting stronger, even if you can get the gear within WvW, without a fixed set-in-stone stat cap or separate equal gear like in sPvP, WvW is all about older players having fun and the expense of new players, farming less equipped people with little skill involved. The towers and keeps, just something to do in between farming the walking lootbags. Server winning or losing? Ha-ha who cares.
Currently, it is somewhat like this, but it stops at a reasonable point, currently. If stats keep increasing it’s gonna start to really suck.
So, It’s a great idea TooBz, but you know, that’s too much fun, makes too much sense, so it will probably never happen. I even think increasing the power curve in WvW is their goal, and is not considered a flaw in the design, which is pretty sad.

Yeah and on top of that, WvW could reward PvP skins.
This is why TooBz (and whoever suggested this before) has a great idea:
- Makes WvW more fair, just enough so it has a point, but not enough to make it too controlled.
- Frees WvWers from gear grind.
- Frees ANet to do whatever the hodor they want to their PvE gear without too many people complaining.
