We loved it, in GW1…
The public appearance of Dhuum reaping the permanently banned player for whatever his crime was.

I like to see something like this come back in GW2 and I have some suggestions to that.
Some ideas might be overdone but hey, we got a great team behind this game and who knows what their godly designer fingers can pull out of the sleeves.

The ideas:
A smaller dragon swooping down with a fierce roar to draw atttention, incinerating the player.

Shadow Behemoth mini emerging from the ground to ‘eat’ the player.

Acolytes of the six gods performing a portal ritual.

In town, the local guards (lionguard for Lions arch, Wardens for the Grove etc) arrest and escort the player to the nearest portal/cell.

More ideas welcome ofcourse, we’ll see if this is an idea the devs like and what the possiblities are.

Maybe they could use The Mad King. He could come out of the ground, stun the person then tell a joke so awful it kills them on the spot.

Pllzzzz ANet. Bring back something like Dhuum.

Or maybe (hijacking a comment from another thread) have a bunch of commandos air dropping to the site, put a black bag over the banned head and take it away never to be seen again..

All these would be awesome. Loved dhuum bannings . But the A.R.E.N.A.N.E.T commandos taking someone from the sky would be kittening awesome as well!

Yeah. I forgot about those. A helicopter dropping commandos out of the sky. They have super speed and nets. Run the person down and take him off in the helicopter. That would be better.

While this would look entertaining, I understand and support ANets decision to make it private. People would just try to get banned to make this happen, not good. We don’t need incentives to break the rules…

I can see where they wouldn’t want to do this with people who get a permanent ban. Even just being in game for a few minutes will give them a chance to scam another person or bot for a gold seller and send them the mats/money. But they could use this for suspended accounts, which isn’t as critical.

There was something very satisfying to see people get Dhuumed. :-)
