Guild Wars 2

A lot of players seem to dislike the nobleman’s set from CM simply because it has the tarnish/beat up look to the skin. I have seen a handful of NPC’s that look as if they have the same skin but with an untarnished look to it. I think a lot more people would appreciate the skin if you could choose between the two.

I agree, it is one of my favorite sets and when I first started I told myself that was the armor I was gonna try and get, (after seeing NPCs with it and concept art). Than I saw how Anet made it look for players and it just looks like Repeated pattern tarnish and I cannot get it to look good with other armors nor for myself.

Yeah. Why can NPCs look shiny but players have to look all beaten up? Where they planning on having the shiny version somewhere else?

Why not making the tarnished version on the rare pieces, and the polished one in the exotic pieces?

seriously, the NPC set looks great, why would they give use the “mashed-up noodles” one? Please give us access to the clean one. The beat up one isn’t “cool”. it’s just.. garbagy looking.
