Eh, I’d have to disagree with this. People have their reasons for ignoring people and some people don’t touch WvW. I doubt not seeing one person’s messages are going to make or break the groups chances in WvW. Chances are that person will end up following the zerg anyways or finding some other group to fall in with.

I use the ignore list primarily for gold sellers and bots, so I don’t really want their /block to expire. For people who are annoying in /map, I don’t really care if they stay on the list forever. Every week or three, I’ll review the list. If someone is online, has a “real” name, and I can’t remember why they are on block, I take them off.

In other words, your suggestion would make it harder for me to maintain the ignore list, not easier.

I imagine ANet could consider adding an optional timer, but I’d just as soon see those programming resources devoted to other suggestions.

Bad idea, if i want to ignore some1 i will ignore it for ever, don’t let me remind that i hate the same person over and over again. For example i like my guild, but 1 member is like trolling, and you put it on ignore… should i put him on ignore every single time i want to renew the ignore list? Oh cmon.. don’t u have better suggestions ??

No. If u don’t walk to talk to someone temporarily then go offline or just ignore the particular person. Blocking someone means exactly that.

If you don’t want them on the ignore list after 14 days, just remove them manually. I want them there permanently.

I would like to have ignored person permanently removed from my team formation, because i had too many situations where ignored players would join my team even thou i have ignored them. Not to mention they sucked as always and were kittening in team chat, even thou you have ignored them.

If you did something so heinous that you ended up in my ignore list, I want you to stay there forever. I rarely block people but when I do, that’s it, you are done. I thank ArenaNet daily for making the ignore list account wide both for me and for the offender. I hate character ignores.
