Until now, limited edition items obtained during Living Story events etc have been one time use items. While this may be suitable enough, I find it frustrating that I must either waste the skins at earlier levels and pay diamonds to transmute them at level 80, or have them take up excessive amounts of room in my bank until I reach level 80 (it may seem petty but I’m already up to about 10 slots being used). This is, of course, assuming that the reward was given as a skin and not an item in which case I may be forced to transmute it no matter what to get the correct stats.

With the update to the achievement system, and the subsequent addition of item rewards for achievement points, I have come to like the way in which the item rewards can be utilized. I for one love the Zenith skins and I’ll probably be using them on one of my characters all the way to level 80, so it’s a comfort that I will be able to use them over and over again without needing transmutation.
However, had the Zenith skins been awarded in the same way that previous rewards have, I would need to further clutter my bank until I reached level 80 so as not to waste the skin, or waste money on transmutation.

So, I propose that all limited edition items obtained as a result of living story events etc be placed in the achievement rewards list so that they may be reused if desired. The items are account bound anyway, so it’s not like there’ll be any way to use them to exploit the economy, It would mean banks remained uncluttered, and we would be able to use said items frugally.

I’m more than happy for the community to poke holes in my suggestions, but currently I really don’t see a flaw, nor a need for things to remain the same.

The flaw and that it would make sense, and it would make players happy. Do you really want a video game company to do that? Do you??

Only flaw I see with the idea is that they have a vested interest in your bank being cluttered and having to use transmutation stones. When your bank gets cluttered you have to buy gems to open the next tier of space. When you need the level 80 transmutation stones, you need to buy those with gems too.

Somewhere along the way someone pays money for those gems. Your suggestion, although something the whole community is begging for, is something that would cut into Anet’s profits.
