I would like to see, if Anet could reuse old Living Story Quest items and turn them with for example the Mystic Forge into something usefull, like for example a kind of unique equipment or just into some random reward.

Example.
When the Scarlet invasions were actite as Living Story, we received those 4 Asura Tech based Quest Items, which we needed to fullfill the Meta Achievement.

Now that the Living Story around the Scarlet Invartions is over, those 4 Quest items basically became instantly obsolete.

But here I asked myseld so.. why has this to be? Its such a waste and a shame just to delete those nice items, only because they have no purpose for existance anymore from one moment to the next, once the LS ended around the Invasions.

I mean exactly these 4 Items (alone the number made me think about it.. 4 exactly enough for turnign them with the Mystic Forge into something useful)

Why can#t we just throw these 4 Items for example into the Mystic Forge (I’m sure I’m not the only person who kept those 4 ^^) and turn those 4 for example into a Minipet of http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Emissary_Vorpp for example.

Or turn it into a special Focus Crystal Back Item, that lets magical enhanced Focus Crystals fly around you in circles.

Or receive with them an account bound unique “Focused Crystal Weapon Chest” thet lets you use a weapon of choice from this special Weapon Set, which could be for

I’m sure we will see in future alot more of this kind of Living Story related Quest items for some kind of Meta Achievements.
So why not use all of this stuff to turn them into something that stays useful to the palyer, even if the LS is already over ??

Personally I like the idea behind sub classes ~ quoted from Chris Whiteside
