I understand that this is probably a very individual request Im just putting it out there in hopes that there is some chance of it happening.

When the Halloween event came around I bought the whole mad king clothing set off the gem store and got rid of my starting town clothing, thinking I could probably just get it back somewhere else, but that was not the case.

I thought maybe it would be simple to set starting town clothes to account-bound instead of soul-bound so thakittens possible to make another character and just transfer that starting clothing so that your character has it.

I also acknowledge that it could potentially conflict with other race’s starting town clothing unless you made it so that the starting clothing was only transferable between races.

Another method might be to have like some sort of merchant in each main city (or personal story world!) that can re-sell you the clothing back which might be easier.

So in the end this is a really simple request that probably requires too much effort for a sad panda like me who just wants his shirt back to wear sometimes ):

they should just simply add a town clothing merchant in each main city, it’s not just the starter one but also the ones NPC’s walk with.

Actually I don’t think this is a problem. When I linked my Sylvari clothes to a Human to preview she saw it like her own Human clothes. This and the fact that they all have the same icon and name and everything leads me to believe it is the same! It only uses different models depending on race. I’ve played with the idea of transmuting the looks onto the stats of for example Mad King outfit to make acc bound town clothes and test it…though I don’t want to loose anything that isn’t aquireable any longer…
