yes I do, but not 100% uptime on them, and people can avoid them by dodging, using CDs and skills and so on.
If its a case of they outplayed me, fine. But its not, its a case of they get owned, then they get to run away at a stupidly fast speed.

Thats part of what prof you choose in the first place. As i play thief thats my main objective to run in run out hit hard and dont get caught. LOL so now in your world im unable to break distance from chasers. Rubbish bring on better threads this ones had a grilling and is done! “Medium Rare”

This game much like its predecessor isn’t a, COME HERE AND LET ME SMITE YOU WITH MY BIG SCARY WEAPON…

Sure this professions have a speed advantage, but ur guardian have another advantage (for instance Heavy armor and high passive armor)
loads of competitive games have different advantages and disadvantages for different classes/characters, this include higher speed.
But sure I understand how u feel, just like I get annoyed playing DotA and a antimage can outrun me and also teleport away from me (with a 6sec CD)
However this forces me to use different strategies to kill an antimage.
Just like you might have to change ur build and strategy to kill some1 with, for instance swiftness.

its not skillful to run in nuke one buttonthen bugger off if you fail to get a kill.
And I dont care if you use abilities and so on to outpace me, but a passive 33% move increase is just too powerful

Try it sometime, even using GS5, S3, stun and with GS4, and saveyourself for speed, its impossible to catch classes with 33% speed increases.
May not be so bad if scepter was not lame as kitten as a ranged weapon, wheere a 33% increase in speed means you are faster than my projectiles…….
They should just call the thief class into Cowards,run in get a few hits,nearly get themselves killed,quickly dissapear,try again dissapear again,and only dare coming back with their full team,i think its hilarious tbh.

Okay maybe its a valid issue if I can outrun your project lol, but I tell you what I want to be done with the Guardian, that thing you have when you are downed, skill 2, needs to not a bomb. Even engies get that at sill 3 XP

ok, so its balanced that I cant catch anyone but skill2 when downed is annoying to you…btw its only a knockback, its not like other profs dont have a defensice skill2 when downed…oh wait they all do.
I dont mind losing fights, I dont mind you playing better and being able to outdistance me…I mind that a passive ability is so powerful and only available to some professions.
Its like some profs get a passive “mount” whilst others have to foot slog!
You know, in a game with only team based PvP, if a thief or whatever other profession is wasting his efforts on you and needs to run from you in the end. That is you having done your job. You wasted his time and did not get killed, sure you did not get a kill either, but in a team scenario driving/keeping a player off a point or wasting their time is a win in its own right.
You can’t catch anyone, passive speed boost proc from utility skills, meaning they are using up an utility slot for mobility instead of something offensive and for the record, afaik only elementalists and thiefs have passive speed bonus in signets. Neither are exactly in the same level of durability as your guardian I am afraid.

and engineers, ok its kit switching, but its 100% uptime.
Engineers can’t stand a nuke like guardians can
I’d just like to mention that the passive speed increase is 25%, not 33%.
Apart from that, the guardian has a lot of movement impeding abilities like walls, snares and the like, try experimenting with them.
Speed and mobility are pretty much the defining characteristics of the thief in this game, I don’t see any problem with them having a passive speed boost in exchange for a utility slot.

What about Retreat the skill? It makes you run faster for a short time, it’s always on my bar. It’s not just for running away, it’s also to rush to mobs and people. It’s always on my bar.
