“of the afflicted” returns results for “of”, “the”, and “afflicted”.

This is ridiculous.

""of the afflicted"" (in quotes) returns the exact same results. The search system doesn’t even support quotes?

Basic stuff, guys.

Would also be handy is searching defaulted to items usable by your profession. That’s the major thing missing from the search filter – unless I’m missing something.

Even think of typing only afflicted?

There are more important things to do than solving a problem because you refuse to use keywords in your search.

The op is right, apart from the rather patronising tone. "" searches would be very handy.

i’ve noticed that the search results always give me way more than what i’m looking for. For example, if i want to search for a carrion staff i type in “carrion” and then filter for weapon – staff – blah blah. but when i try to sort these results by price, i no longer see carrion at the top of the list and would need to search again or browse through a bunch of berserker/valkyrie/whatever. Just an example, it’s happened to me for all weapon and armor types too. basically, the search term is useless if you plan to sort your results any further. if you could actually limit the results to what you search for, that would be great :P

Yeah, the search function is not fully functional and has some glitches. I’ll bet its on their to fix list, but there’s probably quite a lot of other stuff on that too. Also implementing more complex searches uses more resources on the server and we wouldn’t want to go back to having the market overloaded again.
