It was a feature in GW1 that let you save any build with the appropriate attributes (comparable to traits), and in PvP it even let you save your gear as well.
Whenever you were in a town or outpost you could go to your skill panel (like the hero panel where the traits are) and click a button that would open a list of all the builds you had saved in alphabetical order. You could then ‘open template’ or ‘load build’. Opening the template allowed you to ping it to other people like you can ping weapons to other people.
It was the best thing since sliced bread. The only thing is, you didn’t need to pay in GW1 to change your skillbar. But I’m pretty sure they can implement a way that takes 3.5s from your inventory whenever you load up a build that changes your traits.
