Making 'Tonics' not just be wasted slots.

Fully agree with the collectable space for tonics!
I love them, but I’m afraid I will have to throw them away soon, as they take 1/3 of my bank space :>
Sadly I have already started tossing them. Maybe I should use my only free spot to make a bank mule to hold just those.
I’ve been tossing them. Can’t sell em, can’t vendor em, far too many of them accumulated in the bank for no reason.

yeah
they take up way to much space and a are useless..i always hord them for a time and than use them all at once when i need inventory space…dont wanna mule them
I concur. At the very least un-soulbind them so they can be vendored or auctioned. Does zommoros have a random chance to bake them in to everlasting tonics? That would be a great way to keep them flowing as a trade commodity.

Completely agree on this.
Making them collectible is good. Making them tradeable is good. Allowing both would be huge.

Torg Darkmaw [Thief], Zekka The Architect [Elementalist]
No party title. It wasn’t popular in GW1, it won’t be any more than a grudging time sink to “achievers”
I’d rather have tonics be tradeable for people who actually want them, and possibly offer a small movement boost to make them usable for exploring towns and outposts at least.
Currently I just trash them to save space.
Agree, the moment I get them I delete them.
I don’t want to use them, I can’t sell them, and they take up precious inventory space.
I 100% agree with this, except for the achievement part maybe.
I feel the chest are meant to be special rewards and everything else is useful and rare and has an actual purpose.
The tonics are 100% cosmetic and untradeable meaning that if you don’t care about them, 1/3rd of each chest goes to waste.
The very minimum for this would be to have them tradeable/sellable and also drop less so it can an have an actual trade value on trade post.
If all else fails, make us duel as the best we can transform into or something
- Storage for tonics? Yes, please.
- Tradeable? Sure, why not? (I wouldn’t buy any, but I would sell all the ones I find.)
- Titles? No, please; there are perhaps already too many grind-like achievements. (Yeah, I don’t have to pursue those…and I’m not. But neither do I want to see more in the game.)
The ones that come from the black lion chests cannot be considered “gold sinks” — they are just fluff, like packing material…and they get trashed too often.
Are the tonics these chest drops that turn you into different animals for 15 mins ? If so, what is the point of them? It kind of amazes me that time was spent making them but we can’t discover recipes from the collectables tabs, especially in cooking, yet.
i agree, about the trading post. we need to be able to sell them: no acountbound/soulbound. I’d also like it if tonics were like they were in gw2 if you had EL tonics: you could still attack and use skills in the form.
I don’t see the need for this. I keep the tonics I like (golem, deer and pig) and toss the ones I don’t. Why would you want to store tonics in collectible tab that you know you won’t use?
I just use them when i’m in Lion’s Arch crafting, or traveling somewhere.
