I wish there was a way to zoom out of the entire map and show specific areas and what you need left per map.

I am going for 100% map completion, as I am sure others are as well, and this would be very helpful if someone missed something for an area. Then at least they could figure out what area they are missing something without spending money traveling around looking at each map location.

I agree with that, an example could be that a small window pops up when you target a waypoint in a area, showing heart, poi, vista and skillpoints in that area.

The way I did it was typing evey clear zone in notepad. That way I had good knowing in my areas.
