Guild Wars 2

A new feature for maps, the ability to mark anywhere in the map with an icon from a preselected list, and write a notation about it.

This would be useful for saving rare “farms” in the game (like Spinach, Artichokes, etc) and saving your known rare nodes spawn (even though they change every now and then, people keep asking in map and they go around trying to remember where it was from their previous gather), places with treasures, etc

And to go even beyond, the ability to share the notations with someone else. That’d be a complete adventurer’s map!

I would love this! I find all kinds of beautiful places where I just go so my char can ICly meditate. :p
