"Massive Farming Mobs" that breaks the fun
Submit a report about it. But before you do that, could you tell me where these spots are?
The devs don’t care about WvW so I’m gonna kill players in PvE!
I was thinking of responding with something silly, like saying how they are actually doing you a service, by preventing you from playing a frustrating broken dungeon like Arah.
But of course in all seriousness, this is something that needs to be fixed. But like I said in another thread, I don’t think these players are intentionally trying to ruin your fun. They’re just farmers, and farmers seek out what is most profitable. Before the big change to Cursed Shore, people were farming the event chains over and over again… and I’m not sure why this was changed. After all, having people do the events is the whole point isn’t it?
But now that has been changed, and the events reset less frequently, people have moved on to farming other things. I think the real problem here, is that not the right activities are rewarded. People get better rewards from randomly farming trash mobs, then from finishing large group events and killing really tough foes.

It’ll be fixed sooner than later, it’s just like it happened to the Temple of Lyssa short time ago, there was an event where you were supposed to destroy 6 walls around a specific point, and people found out that as long as the walls were up infinite waves of mobs would keep spawning (and dropping loot) so they started to keep the walls up indefinitely (some mobs that spawned from time to time repaired them if they were broken) to keep farming, problem is that it prevented the event chain to capture the temple to continue further… I was one that was yelled at because I saw the event marker, saw lots of people there, assumed they were there to capture the temple and heroically ran in and destroyed the walls before reading the chat (oopsie)..
Shortly after that it was fixed so that the waves of mobs don’t drop any loot now, so it’s pointless to farm them. I’d expect a simmilar fix for that soon, they’ll probably either make them not drop loot, or have the giant not heal or leash so you can’t keep him alive indefinitely.

And now it is a PITA to get enough people together to complete Lyssa. Usually people won’t come until the last event, which is taken down the priestess.

The reason Anet gave us lots of events is not to keep farming till to the point where you just do the same farming till there’s no sense of playing the game as it should anymore. They gave us to venture and of course to have fun doing it. Also not to mention about getting on what you need (legendary etc) but still it will ruin the vibe and that depends and its up to em.
Speaking about these, players just need to relax and calm down on getting things go their way so they can gather what they need. Even worst a commander was part of the group that encouraged players to do this kinds. As for places so far i’ve witnessed in Malchor’s Leap and Curse Shore ( The Lyssa and Gates of Arah event) both by commanders.
This is just pathetic seriously… get rid of this mindset peeps.
