The zones of Orr have been largely left abandoned at this point, there are not that many players that go there or that are interested in the content available, it makes running through there for the first time overly painful as a result.

The mass packs of mobs, the constantly contested waypoints and statues, it’s about time those were dealt with, at the very least the packs of mobs could stand to be cut by 25% or more, the snares and stuns need to go, and the contested statues and waypoints need to either be soloable (no more champs/veterans and less mobs) or (better yet) simply remove their ability to become contested at all.

This zone is overly punishing from trying to run to arah or just getting to the next camp where there are huge groups of mobs every ten seconds no matter what direction you go in which would be fine to run through if more than half of them didn’t have so many stuns/roots.

Just a thought.

agreed, they need to rebalance it so it can be feasibly done by a solo player, even at the temples.

I don`t think making Orr more soloable is going to help anything much. people stay away from it for a reason. It is one of the most annoying zones in the game. From the annoying skills the mobs spam on you to the rate at which they respawn doesn`t make it a fun place to frequent. After coming back from a break from the game I noticed my damage was different to mobs in Orr and some events were buffed making them even more difficult for a solo player then it was before. You don`t see many people going there unless there are taking a temple and even then they shouldn`t be made for solo players.

I`m not really sure what they could do to make it a fun place to go. I stay away from the place. But with all the statues that grow vines and other stuff, it`s easier for me just to avoid the place. even when I go there I don`t normally see many people unless they are doing one of the temples like dwayna. But for being the top lvl areas, most people avoid it.

I personally used to really enjoy Orr when there were more mobs, and more pulls. I got to orr within the first few days of the games release, when you were truly and completely alone on these maps, and I loved it made you truly feel like you were going behind enemy lines and securing objectives, and taking defensible locations to provide a safe path for the pact’s reinforcements. Now they are no longer an angry army you have to push through to secure a path through so you can move enough troops and materials to attack the dragons and “cut the head off the snake”, but rather a group of shambling unorganized undead, if you get attacked its not by a group of them that makes you feel like you’ve been spotted by the enemy but rather an annoyance that is just getting in your way as you are passing through. Maybe my perception has just changed but that’s my 2 cents.

I believe the reason no one goes to Orr anymore is cuase they are not enough events popping up as fast as Queensdale for example. I do believe a Revamp is in order for Orr since it’s “End game content” in a way since you need to be around 80 to get there, solo at least. So instead of adding the living story events just in low level areas, Add them in Orr/Frostgorde too. it will breathe new Life to these dead zones ( other than Champ Farming)
