Medium Armor Goggles & Toolbelts
Good point. I haven’t been able to find or discover or come across a lens that covers one eye like my starter engineer armor for my female asura…lots of masks and scarves, but goggles none of any sort.
I believe there are two(?) craftable goggles, one of which is at about 250 leatherworking
Edit: Looked it up and they are called Noble and Leather

Thanks, CapN Biku, I’ll look for those.
If anyone has a screenshot of the leather and noble goggles I’d love to see what they look like. I’m having difficulty finding them via google and none are listed on the trading post.

Sorry I don’t know if they are the real names, it’s just what I found on the wiki. But I know for sure I’ve crafted at least the Leather armor.
What I find funny is that a Guardian (Mace/Focus) could look more Engineer than an Engineer can by equipping the ‘Fixer Upper’ mace (looks like a Wrench) and Accursed Chains focus (looks like some chain).

Check that page. Just go down to medium armor and you can see them.
Aah yeah those are monocles, regardless of whether they’re calling them goggles or not. Guess for the moment my only option is to transmute some starter Engineer goggles and give them to my Engineer. Hate to cover up her eyes though, plus they’re kind of big for her little Asuran face. Thanks for the links.

That’s what I’m really looking for. Don’t know whether those are actually supposed to be goggles or not now that I take a really close look at them, but they sure look like it, just sitting on the forehead instead of covering the eyes.
The starter equipment is soulbound so you wont be able to make a new engineer and then give that ones goggles to your Asura
I read of a trick where you make a new Engineer and use a transmutation stone to apply the look of the soulbound goggles to a blue helmet item that’s not soulbound, then just use the bank to give the newly transmuted item to the other character.
Nope, still wont work, transmuted items automatically become soulbound. Or at least I remember hearing about that, think it was a recent update
You could try though, I might be wrong
Hmm, I’d hate to waste a tranmutation stone if it doesn’t work, but I guess the only way to find out is to try. I’ll let you know the results if I try it.
I have a set of armor that kind of works for engineers, it still lacks that toolbelt though
Noble Mask, Heritage Vest, Emblazoned gauntlets, Emblazoned Shoulders, Emblazoned Shoes, Heritage Pants, Frost Dye, Chalkboard Dye, Heirloom Dye.

The trick in general is that you have to transmute first to a white item (whites don’t get soulbound, unless they fixed it in this last patch), then use your other char to transmute that item.
wrapped up in some crazy ritualist hoo-ha from Cantha.
A real grab bag of ‘you can’t hurt me. They’re called Guardians.
Probably bit of a late post, but I’ve been wanting the exact same thing for my human engineer. Like, a pair of goggles- not those eyepatch style ones- that your character wears on their forehead above their eyes and without a hat so you can see their hair. The only head gear I can think of which has this effect is the thief determination headband on a Charr. It would be very very awesome to have something like that, I would buy it instantly.
For engi’s, why not have the option to to turn off the god awful back packs? For me, it really ruin’s the class. I like the theme and game play but, hate the appearance. Let’s give a lot more love to the Engi’s appearance Anet, please?
