I was so lost with the TMNT reference for a minute. But I agree, I rarely find an armor set that looks awesome in this game.

Medium armors in this game tend to suck!
Making trenchcoats was a cool idea, but we can only have so many trenchcoats into the game.
My suggestion is to design versions of hair for when the head is only partially covered, to bring into the game cooler leather hats (ex, Cowboy hat or the headgear you get from Orr Karma without the hood), while having some of the hair being visible to make you extra cool.
Suddenly, medium armor will become awesome!

Man I just posted about this very thing 5 min ago on another thread. I for one would love to see more duelist or human cultural tier 3 styled sets for medium armor. It doesn’t even have to be skimpy, just feminine at least. I’m tired of my character looking awkwardly encumbered by their gear. I do kinda like the cash shop skins they have added lately although one did still have a trench coat theme I thought its pleated mini skirt and tighter waist made it at least look feminine.
My first character was medium armor. I was very disappointed with the available options. I don’t have an issue with the trench coats per say, but a little variety would be nice.

I have to respectfully disagree with you there. anet puts all their attention on female armor while the male armor suffers. As a male player that actually roles a male character, I want to see less feminine male gear. I’m tired of seeing armor with one sleeve or shoulder, and ridiculous head gear. I like the heavy armor more, but sadly I cannot wear it with my chosen profession.
Isn’t Temple armour basically a trench-coat ??

I think you misunderstand, my comment about more feminine armor is directed specifically at the female armor. As far as I’m concerned the male equivalent can be equally masculine
