I’m kinda curious if mermaids will ever be introduced into the game sometime in the far future? It would be quite awesome. I’ve seen some mermaid motifs around divinity’s reach, and considering how much water there is in the game, it would be pretty cool to have some, or even transformations :p. Shouldnt be too difficult considering they already have krait animation. One can dream though.

So it would be a tonic that only works underwater? Or would you just kind of flail around helplessly when on land?

But in all seriousness, I think Krait are already GW’s version of mermaids.

Maybe someday it might be a tonic, it would be nice to have some underwater tonics. When they get ready for the DSD I think a lot of work will be done with underwater zones, including goodies to be used there and perhaps some cool tonics such as this.

I think the tonic makes you turn fully into the animal, so it would not be a charr with a tail, it would be just a mermaid/merman model.

Well at least they’d be better than Largos.

Mermaids and mermen would need to be able to get around on land. I suggest unicorn mounts. :P

I love mermaids just as long as they aren’t made ugly. I think an aquatic type armor would be awesome, like starfish & barnacles with coral & seashell tops for females! Maybe even an armor for asura males /females that actually destinguishes their genders for once.

I think it would be a great idea to have a mermaid as a playable race because you dont want all your races to be land based. Having a mermaid as a race would be different and unique to play. But there could be problems with them going on land, that can be fix by them change and turning into a humanoid then having scale design on there skin. All in all I Believe its would be a great idea to have them as a playable race

I dont believe so but it would be very interesting to play a mermaid as a character

Why? Exactly what about mermaids is interesting, or more interesting than anything else? Why not one of the already aquatic races that, as it turns out, don’t need to morph into something else in order to come on land?

I think morphing depending on whether you on land or in water would be pretty interesting.
