I would like it if my summoned illusions had a cool down if there were no enemies in sight. Instead of the current, as soon at the targeted enemy is dead they all dissipate. It’s one thing when you are solo, but in a group setting, by the time I summon a clone or phantasm the mob is dead and I have to wait to reuse certain skills. I think it I should be able to roll in to 3 or 4 mobs, summon all my beasters, kill them one by one with out my illusions dissipating then once fight is over they shatter.

Yeah I must admit it bugs me too when I summon a phantasm in a DE and see it disappear before it even gets to fire its attack.

very least a trait option that lets any unspent illusions auto shatter when they dissipate for lack of target for small aoe damage would be nice

Yea gotta have something…I dont like having so many skills that I cant use in a party or event because they “fizzle”

Can’t agree more. One of the reasons i’m kinda leaning away from my Mesmer for now. Especially using staff where two out of five skills relies on an illusion and 1 of the remaining 3 is close range. So in a normal event at range I mostly just get to spam winds of chaos because theres little point in sending clones out for one target whos dead in 3 seconds anways.

yes please. Whilst the illusions are not a one-trick-pony, I still think they aren’t quite there yet for some reason.
