I think they should have a mini pet slot somewhere in the hero panel that you can put your favorite minipet in and so it leaves the mini pet out at all times and doesnt put it away when you deposit collection. Kinda like the axe,sickle, and pick slots.

I would +1 this more, but I am stuck with only the once. Since they gave us preview from TP this is my number one concern right now.
