I have three mini-pets from my GW1 Hall of Monuments rewards. There appears to be no UI to summon them when I want them running besides me. Instead, I have to put them in my bags, right-click them and choose ‘Use’. The problem is that if I ever use the “Deposit all collectables” option from the gear icon in the upper right corner of the UI panel that shows our bag contents, my mini-pets all go back to my bank. So, since I am one of those people who like to have mini-pets around all the time, I can never use the “Deposit all collectables” option otherwise I have to go find a banker or go to a crafting station.

On a related note, I think we need a “button bar” that can be positioned anywhere we like on the screen. Then we can assign consumables and mini-pets, etc, on the button bar and use the items from there. Look at the Rift UI which is extremely well done and refined.

Yep UI could use some tweaks, like Element resizing/moving. I am hoping this was left until after launch and major issues and that some day soon we will see some work towards this effort. Outside of a few issues its one of the best game UIs at launch I have experienced.

Back to mini-pets. I totally agree the whole bag summoning/resummoning and them being “put away” whenever you travel via waypoint or portal is annoying. I don’t recall this behavior in GW1 (though its been about 5 years since I played that).

Also mini-pets need to move faster, right now its pointless to have one out as they are never on my screen when moving, they are always WAY behind…

Hey dude you are walking into a wall.

smack..Wut?…smack…smack…

Simple Mini fix would be to disable the “Deposit all collectables” for them.
Keep the right-click “Send to bank” thing though.

Suggesting people to buy/craft invisible bags to keep minis from being sent to bank is pretty dumb.
