I’m sure this has been mentioned before but would it be possible to have an equipment slot for mini-pets and possibly a small icon in the corner of the screen to summon/dismiss mini? I feel like they’ve always been a neat little side in GW but too bothersome to use. An equipment slot for them would be ideal so they didn’t vanish with the deposit collectibles and a quick-use icon would be nice (or key-bind since we don’t like UI clutter).

Thinking on this further it would be nice if said “equipment slot” allowed you to choose and “active” mini from storage so that the physical mini did no actually have to be on your character but could remain in storage while you summon it.

I’d love to see something like this. Even better would be an option to go along with it, like marking head gear or shoulder gear to go invisible, except that it makes the pet stay out permanently/automatically.

I third this. I loved minis in gw1 but find I run out of space in gw2 too often to keep them on me. Also the hassle of them being deposited to collectibles when I don’t want them to be, and being put away when I change maps means I don’t equip them ever.

+1 There are too many difficulties with minis right now. But if we can equip them, it would be fine.

i completely agree… the idea with turning them on / off would be awesome … !

I just keep a couple mini’s in an invisible bag along with an alternate change of armor and some consumables. This at least keeps them from being deposited in collectables and as as you’re in the same map they dont go away if you’re porting around (champ farming for instance).

This isn’t exactly what you’re looking for since you have to activate your mini every so often but it is a reasonable work around.
