Guild Wars 2

(I’ve made a separate post from the earlier suggestion, that way discussion can occur only on the specific topic/doesn’t become more confusing)

In Guild Wars 1, players were able to draw on the minimap. This made coordinating actions in missions (and later, dungeons) much easier than through chat alone, and I’ve found myself a great number of times trying to draw on the GW2 minimap, to no avail. I realize that this would require a great overhaul of how the minimaps functioned, and that doing that might at this stage not be desirable, but I thought I’d at least suggest this here/see what others think/see if ANet has posted a reason why they made this change.

hold shift or alt and try drawing on the map or minimap.

You can set waypoint, draw, and ping the map for those in your party.
