I found this picture on the web and some faces are missing and we can’t use them in the game.
I dont know why but it’s too bad…
Of course one of the missing is my favourite… and we can find them on NPC in the game.

Does someone know anything? Maybe in a futur patch?

Huh….is it like that for the other races too?

I don’t really know about other races…but I think that is not enough at all.

I know nothing about future patches but there’s one thing I know: these faces should be released.

And while we’re at it, make more hairstyles for asuras and sylvaris!

And all of them are so desperately drowned under a ridiculous sh#t ton of make up. If only they had made make up an option equivalent to beard on men, so that we could choose not to have it !

Anyway, I’d be much more interested in those human male faces that we see on NPCs but not in character creation. Now these would actually bring some diversity with their wrinkles and not-so-ridiculously-clean-and-ultra-handsome look. These female faces above all look so similar it’s depressing. Character creation needs more diversity and “honesty” in its representation of humans, people have been saying that since what… the first gamescom demo ?

I think more hair needs to be added to ALL races & genders. More Faces! totally- I think there should be a makeup On/Off option too. I don’t see the point in running around with makeup on, killing things when you’re just gonna sweat it off (basically) Makeup isn’t always pretty. Especially on most of the human faces

Most of the faces (all races) look like they used a template and then varied from there. Was time or money a factor? They had several years so I doubt time and I assume they paid the artists a salary to work for them, so I doubt money. My guess is that studies have shown them that people may say they want variation in faces, but when it comes to actually choosing the faces on creation day, everyone chooses the same ones. Look at the faces for female Asura for example. There are several non cute faces, but the majority of people choose one or two of the available options, specifically, the cutest ones.

So why should a company invest time and money for faces that people don’t use? If their studies show that the majority will select the same few faces, then they are best served by making those faces and then varying them a little.
