I can find a post about this subject so that is why i am posting this
I just bought the Harvest sickle with infinite uses, and i am a bit sad that i was not active playing while the Molten alliance pickaxe was up in the Gem shop. I would love to get a chance to buy it. Ofcourse that is one of the benefits of being active in a game like Gw2 is that you are able to see the good deals and get them, but for a player who is working (like me, in the military) i cant seem to get enough time sometimes to see these things and collect the gold for these lovely items<33 !
Im just wondering if enough players would agree to buy this Molten Alliance pickaxe that maybe the ArenaNet would but it back for a week or two

Molten Alliance pickaxe avaible again?
If I were a gambling man, I’d be willing to bet that the Molten Alliance Pick (or at least a variation thereof) will return in future content.
The infinite use gathering tools seem pretty easy to implement, just requiring a new skin and some effect that they can borrow from those already existing in the game. It was a pretty shrewd move by Anet to make the tools soulbound, so even if you already bought the Molten Alliance pick, chances are a lot of people would be willing to buy another similar mining pick for another of their characters.
Personally I would not like to see the actual Molten variety return. It is a shame if you missed the event, but it should exist as a kind of one-off commemoration to those that were around during this one-off content. If the Molten Alliance story continues again in some form then sure stick it back on the store, otherwise I think a pick with another theme should be introduced.
Who knows, perhaps aside from all the themed infinite tools, they may introduce generic variations with the same skin as normal tools but infinite uses that are available all year round.
Either way, we’re due for an infinite axe next. Fingers crossed it is a chainsaw as someone suggested in another thread!
It will molten alliance are not defeated yet. Mobs on map where just scouting parties and We only killed a outpost of scientists. So we never even fought their army yet and dragon backing them. So pick will probably return when that happens same with consortium scife.
