I believe there is a previous thread about this issue, but I’d like to make a new one to bring it out into view.

With the new patch today, my monthly achievement was reset. This would be perfectly fine by me except for the fact that I almost had my monthly done with having to do only 6 events left. I thought that I’d had all the time today to be able to finish the monthly before midnight, but no, it reset while I was out busy with work.

I’d like to strongly suggest that Arena Net takes into account regional time or timezones that are out there. Somewhere else it may be May 1st, but for me it’s still April 30th and now my chances of getting the monthly are GONE…

What…!? They reset them already!? You’re kidding…….. I was working sooo hard the last few days to get them done! >< Omg… I don’t even want to log on now. -_-

Guild Wars 2 REALLY needs to get their kitten kitten together already. I miss gw1. Just wish I could jump and swim in it. Got to be in town with real people… and go out and kill things on my own.. and bring friends with me if I Wanted to. Collect things by killing things and go to a merchant and handing it in and get free armor that I could actually use… not like when I kill a boss and all the Wrong armor and weapons fall/are in the chest… what a waste of time.

Ooohhh… and now I get the ‘kitten’ thing… at first I was like ‘wth are ppl saying’… Wonder why they used ‘kitten’ for ‘swear’ words, instead of like *.

Folks, they put a countdown into the daily/monthly window, so you know exactly how much time you have.

They continue to use GMT, because then it’s equally unfair to everyone.

I could see the count down, and actually had an hour to do the 6 events but I had class to go to which is what I meant by “work”. I’m not going to skip a class for the monthly but I’m just expressing my concerns. I’ll do it right next time but that doesn’t mean I’m not still angsty about it!

Boo hoo don’t procrastinate until the last minute…

I feel your pain and it sucks that you missed it, but doing the monthly takes a few hours at the most. The issue is not that GW2 needs more regional refinement, the issue is that you procrastinated and waited until the last minute.

Do yourself a favor and complete the May monthly right now. I already got mine done

I think the term procrastination is better used for spending your time playing something rather than doing actual work…

This thread has been mentioned before but in relation to Dailies which is more understandable. You did have about 30 days to complete 4 tasks for the Monthly.. Don’t leave things to the last minute :P

Well you should have an easier time this month. 2 MF runs will likely give you your between quota.

Yeah I was so frustrated that it had reset when I logged in to finish my monthly. I was nearly there, would have taken me half an hour to finish it off but because of the patch, and then the repatch yesterday because of bug, I went to do something else in the meantime meaning to relog and finish off the achievement before I went to bed. But then, lo and behold, I couldn’t log in after the last patch -_- The stupid patches made me miss my monthly. I know there are many that have trouble logging in after patches, -wouldn’t it have been better to let people in all timezones finish off the monthly before patching?
