Stop selling ingame gold. Stop selling mats for recipes needed ingame.
PVE—————
Make items associated with quests, storylines etc soulbound and account bound.
Anything “Legendary” needs to be soulbound and account bound, you should not be able to buy squat for making anything “Legendary”.
Make gold non tradeable, it can be bankable and account bound but no sending money through the mail, you want money, earn it. (We will get to farming in a minute.)
With this in mind the bots cant get rid of ill gotten gold, farmers cant profit and the drop rates and gold drop rates can be set to where they need to be for everyone.
Mats for cosmetic items, food, boosts, events, can still be sold, recipes would need to be adjusted accordingly.
Weapons and armor need to wear and break eventually, they could be repaired a number of times but the wear would be cumulative until they finally broke, stats need not be affected until they break. No MMO has anything close to an economy because everything is infinite, regardless of rarity and dev meddling with the numbers but having things need to be replaced at least gives the illusion of one. Skins could be transferred in the same manner they are now, even give the gemstore a reason for existance, that and recipes would be available for these skin changes too, mats cost would be high but not stupid like many are now. Nothing material wise would be purchasable on the gemstore.
Crafted Armor and weapons (anything crafted really) can be bought and sold but they cannot be resold, nor broken down into components, you buy it, it is soulbound/accountbound. Regular trash greens blues whites could still be sold on the market and broken down.
New concepts for the gemstore need to be thought out, i can think of a huge amount of non game changing, cosmetic, actual fun things to sell to make money Anet. It seems you have some very, very, unimaginative folks working for you.
WvW
Gold has no place in pvp and needs to stop being a crutch and preferred game mechanic via your gemstore, another reason the gemstore needs to stop selling ingame gold.
WvW needs to be 100% supply based and include a very strong “4th” man, as strong and deadly as the players, zerging needs to stop, you know how to do this, along with keep swapping, orb swapping, etc.
Rally needs to go away in WvW, “commanders” such as they are in a game, need to realize what troop loss means in combat, not that zergs mean a win most of the time.
Ammo needs to be limited on seige equipment, supply based.
Range on seige equipment needs to be looked at.
Rewards for defense and assaults need a rework once a better pvp system is in place.
If seige is continued to be allowed in the jumping puzzles then the roofs of objects need to work as roofs or ceilings, shots should not go through, on the reverse, shots should not go throug, up through, or around objects either.
All player skills need to be line of sight. Aoe skills need to be line of sight and land on only objects able to be seen in los, they can then function as intended on that area. Breaking line of sight should break targeting, thats simple common sense and what cover is for. Collions, needless to say environment wise sucks much, no player should be able to fire through anything, magic or otherwise.
Any player skill use to pull/or push needs to have the same range. Adjustable by trait, more points more people OR less people and range, as an example. (and/or/mix)

Any player skill that has a max range should be the max range for all players, adjustable by trait. Damage, adjustable for increase or decrease based on traits, shorter range goves more damage, longer range does less, let the player choose. I know that blows your mind devs but hey, you folks have no imagination when it comes to player skills and implementation verse players or the environment.
A few folks on other threads made some great posts about something also near and dear to my heart, defense and healing. This should not be a one sided DPS game. I really am baffled that whomever is in charge of this current skill fiasco is so clueless. you state you are/were/TRIED to get rid of the trinity, but you are not even close yet. You are dps heavy.
Current skill set are a joke. Simply too much to list because of the ill concieved mix and match. The forums support this.
And for all that is holy Anet, get some subject matter experts (SME’s), you folks need them badly.
No anger, no hate, just suggestions you need to implement. You have a great start two months in, but as we said in the military, you can doing a thousand things right and when you screwup once everyone sees, and feels it. Can you take the criticism? Advice? Suggestion? Or is that infract wagon going to roll out Anet?
