At the moment there are a few armor sets that are composed of multiple layers and different materials, but have a single color swatch assigned to several of these layers. Armors such as the Primeval Warplate (which has the cloth undershirt on the same swatch as the bone carving on its back), the Commander’s Chausses (which has the chainmail on the same swatch as the leather pants), the Rascal Coat (which has the belt buckle on the same swatch as the shirt), and others.

Many of these armors don’t even have four active swatches; they usually have two or three, despite being layered pretty intricately. These sets look great but they’re really hard to color because what looks good for one piece looks horrible on another; most metallic colors don’t really work for metal cloth, and vice versa. It would be really nice if we could get more swatches for these pieces to make them easier and more intuitive to customize.
