Guild Wars 2

The game is called Guild Wars/2. With that said we need more things that benefit guilds and what they can do.

Guild Mail: Running guilds that don’t require 100% rep shouldn’t have to whisper their members to get their messages across. Also, if you put too much in your Guild Message of the Day, it looks cluttered no matter how organized you make it. Guild mail would be a system where if the permission is given to that rank in a guild, they could send out a mailing GUILD WIDE to anyone that is in the guild the message they want to send out. If someone is in 5 guilds, then any messages sent out to those guilds..they would get them…repping or not.

Guild Alliance: I’m sure there is 10,000 posts about this so I’m not going to go into much detail…but we need this. Many guilds need this to ally with one another for certain needs, etc. Otherwise things get cluttered. If you want a community to grow in a positive way… you need these types of options for people to become more aware of one another and socialize more.

Multi-server guild options: If a guild has people from multiple servers, they should be able to SHARE the influence, and share the experience. Sure, they would still have to guest to one server to do guild missions/etc…. but at least they can share the influence. There are MANY guilds which have people from multiple servers.

Anyone else: Feel free to post anymore guild options you think there should be.

I second and approve this as its WAY too hard to whisper message the close to 4500 members in our guild (Community) ! Please Help us out Anet.

This sounds like a really good idea, I’d love to see them implement more ways for guilds to interact together. Come on Anet! I have faith in you.

A tab for guild information would also be good. The message of the day works for temporary things or brief permanent ones, sure, but it would be nice to be able to have a place where you can post the more core features of the guild. For my guild I want it to be clear that we don’t mind if members are in multiple guilds/don’t rep and that discrimination will not be tolerated. It would be nice not to have to explain things like that to every single new member!

I’m all for guild-wide mail also. That would be really useful.

What do people think about a ‘last login’ feature also? I know it would just get used to kick people who aren’t online 24/7 but tbf that happens anyway. I’d want it to make sure people got promoted if they’ve been active/helpful even if me or an officer wasn’t online to see it.

More Guild control – Last Logon/last Rep status in the Roster Tab, Guild Calendar

Better Guild Communication – Guild Mail Blast, On screen Messages created by Guild Masters, Guild Calendar with Update Reminders via Mail

Better Guild Benefits – Server independent benefits, Guild Hall/Instances, More Guild Visual aids (such as more Guild armor options, Back pieces, Weapons, banners), More Guild repping Benefits

WvW/sPVP – Guild vs Guild options, Guild Alliances + Shared Guild Benefits, More on the Guild Claiming options for WvW.

There’s really a long list of things that need to bring Guild back into Guildwars2.

Definitely better guild communication. With everyone able to have 5 guilds they may not be repping and miss out on things they want to do unless guild leaders individually whisper them and with 500 people per guild that is not easy at all.

Some sort of thing that allows a blurb for all members in the guild repping or not in chat would be great.

also I know that in China the guilds are massive. I believe one of the devs said that they make the guild here look tiny. So with this you guys should be working on some way to make multiple guilds able to interact. Or even allow more people per guild would be good.

I also find that a lot of the guilds especially on smaller servers such as Devona’s Rest where I am from work together at times. With large content like Tequatl it is sometimes the only way to get things done. It would be great to have a better form of inter guild relationships. Alliance chat would fill this void nicely.
