More Skill Info
I can’t be the only one who wants some improvement in this area.
I will champion this cause until it is fixed.
Agree, and same for traits.
Its so annoying to see how a trait says: “Increase the damage of an awesome skill” or “give a chance on critical hits to inflict bleeding” but dont tell in wich amount.
Skills should reflect the final damage (after all traits and stats formulas), the casting time…
And even, if possible the crit percent of that skill and its critical damage rate. If you think that this kind of information can be overwhelmed for new players, you can also add an option to the interface to switch between the simple tooltip or the complex one.
Yes, good post. We want stats and I am ashamed to say this but something similar to the stats of diablo 3.
Came to post my own thread, but this fills it.
Skill tooltips need way more detail. GW1 was meticulous in showing all the information about a skill. Why aren’t cast times listed in the tooltip?
Also was going to suggest that the total damage of the skill be made clear, and include all traits and passives. Multi-hit damage needs to be more clear and consistent as well.
Still hasn’t been fixed. Skill info is lacking, to say the least.
Skills are a huge part of the game. One would think players should be able to see all the important bits, but tooltips don’t even show the basic stuff, let alone anything advanced.
It seems like this would be a simple fix to a rather large problem.
The tooltips on the skill hotbar do not display enough information.
If you are going to give me options for traits like “Corruption skills recharge 20% faster”, then we need the hover information to list whether skills are corruption or not.
