-Your screen already mists up the way you describe when blinded.

Confusion – Purplish/Pink spiral over your head
Poison – body turns a Green hue
Retaliation – transparent/amber seraph shield over one arm
I recommend trying out all of the classes just to see them all. Once you know what to look for, when to look, and where to look, you’ll start noticing them more often.
And besides, our numbers are already colorcoded. White for damage you deal, red for damage you take and green for heals.
