Guild Wars 2

Just thought we could add more weapons to some of the classes

Ele:
Sword
Shield

Warrior/Engie:
Rifle changed to allow short range and long range
Or just make a shotgun/blunderbust

Thief:
Throwing Knives and maybe Sais

Ranger:

No ideas yet

2h axes, whips, polearms

2-handed axes: Useable by warriors, guardians and necromancers.

Crossbows (1- or 2-handed): Useable by rangers, warriors (if 2-handed only), thieves and engineers.

(Hovering) orbs (off-hand): Useable by elementalists, mesmers, necromancers, guardians and (maybe) rangers.

Spears on land (1- and/or 2-handed): Useable by warriors, guardians, (maybe) elementalists and (maybe) rangers.

Claws/Fist items – Ele* each element augments the fists* Warrior, Guardian

Lewis gun [warrior skill set]
(could work as just a skin for rifle with it’s own animations, or a new weapon)
Acts similarly to the rifle but it fires a 2-3 round burst for bleeding shot*,
-1 shot for “aimed shot” (<--funnily enough he hip fires ),
-17 round burst for volley* (*at a cycle rate of 510 round per min (thats around 2 seconds(same amount of time as the rifle takes to fire 5 shots))).
-brutal shot the same,
-rifle but the same,
-and burst(haven’t calculated yet) for kill shot).

The reason why this could either be a skin or new weapon is:
-As a weapon: each shot does less damage, making the gun better at “crowd control” or “supressing”.
-I assume you’re not interested in why it would work well as a skin, since this is about new weapons.
Oh and don’t worry it’s not you’re typical machine gun (because I know you’ll think it wouldn’t fit the game’s theme, and you’re right), the lewis gun is very exotic for a light machine gun ,and could make a good charr style weapon.
Edit: There is actually a HMG in guildwars 2 so it’s not that unusual.

Ranger- Cruise Missiles pls.
Or if thats too OP maybe crossbow… slower Rate of fire but harder hitting with excellent range.
