Guild Wars 2

The game really lacks armour sets. When I first started playing, I was a bit disappointed of the very few skins of low level armour. The amount of level 80 armour is also very meagre. The game would do so much better when I have something to go after for. I have gotten my favourite armour in-game right now (there are honestly just 2 heavy armour sets I like) and now I don’t have anything to raid for.

Add A LOT more armour skins! This problem is severely underrated, just as the lack of realistic cloth on characters (not reacting on the wind), but that’s something that is hopefully worked on (I know about the clipping issue).

Not only add fantasy armour, but also realistic ones. Some want to look like a knight in shining armour. Furthermore, please add different kinds of medium skins. The trench-coat looks good, but not when everything is the same. Add some lightly plated armour in combination with cloth.

I hope someone from AN will pick this up, because I do not think they are even taking this problem into account. Add more armour!

I assume you’ve taken all Karma and crafted armors into account ? cause there are a lot of skins out there

there are a lot of armor in this game, more than enough, it’s just everyone is using cof armor because it looks awesome and is easy to get, which is why you feel there aren’t many armors in the game, you just need to know how to mix things up.

Nah, I don’t think that there is enough armor out there. I’ve played around with every light armor i could and tried different combinations.I even got the necro mask on my mesmer, used invaders,berserkers,winged, feathered,cultural…when u are in wvw u will see that most of the light armor used is profane and winged.I really want more skins as the ones available atm are starting to get boring to me

I do think more armour needs to be added to the game, I would expect that any we do see added would be done if and when we get any expansions. I’d love to see more armour sets in general but I wouldn’t exactly complain about the amount of armour sets in the game at the moment. My only complaint regarding armour would be that there really only becomes any sort of choice or variation in the much later levels. It’s only around level 50-55 that a few new sets become available and I really think there should be more choice for the lower levels. Nothing special of course as they would obviously be reserved for the higher levels but it does feel lacking at the moment.

More armor skins please! I totally support that and have suggested it before. More cultural armor skins, profession based armor skins, etc.

but I totally agree on the armor.
I miss having armor specific to your class- like in GW1.
A Mesmer and an Elementalist would not wear the same armor even though they are light armor wearers.

I especially want more, better looking non revealing female light armour. Medium armour that is revealing on men. Some sets of actual female armour for female Asura and Charr.

May be low lvl armor add a specific race instead.
History is immersed in our culture. (and it would change for the sylvari / Norn / Human.

And add some nice skins, lvl 10, 15, 20, that changes in addition to those present in craft.

and then new skins with new dungeon.

The problem with the armours is more a matter of visibility and accessibility. That’s why I believe that having a wardrobe-feature would solve this problem, allowing you to unlock store (most important) and mix-and-match armours to your hearts content.

There are a ton of skins out there already, I am sure they will release more skins eventually so be patient

The game already has tons of different armor sets considering it has only been out for a half year but I’m always up for new sets ^^

But please, no profession-locked armor, profession-THEMED instead!
