Yesterday I cleaned my guild from inactive members and there was 2 problems.

I can not see when my members was online the last time, is it possible to add that information to guildlist?

The 2. problem is the mail spam supression.
I know it is good to stop goldsellers but i wanted to leave a mail for every member i kicked so they know the reason and to who to talk if they return.
I had to kick 140 members and it was impossible to send messages to all because i was all the time supressed.
Is it possible to add a option for guildleaders of guilds with lets say 200+ member to switch off the supression for 30 minutes?
That would make our cleanup job easier.

I feel your pain. A month ago I sent out mail to all my guild members saying if they don’t reply back to be before 2014 they will be removed, and it took forever with that mail suppression.

Personally, I find the system pointless since it doesn’t really stop a gold seller. Assuming most are just bots sending out the message all they need is a little extra code telling it to wait a minute every few mails.

My thoughts is that they remove the suppression for sending mail to guildmates (not people on friend list). Or if that is too difficult to filter for how about a guild upgrade that allows for one mass mail message to everyone in the guild, build time for the item can be 3 days and you can’t speed up the process, in order to prevent guilds from spamming it.

So much yes. I posted yesterday offering a different mailing rank privilege. It would be sooo much help. Inactivity “last logged on” would be splendid!

I use the Location portion of the roster to see if they have been inactive. Once it’s displaying “unknown” i determine it to be too long and they are kicked. If it still says a server or zone location they are still actively logging in.

This this this!!! GW1 had this system and it was very useful in oh so many ways of relieving some of the stress of being a guild leader. I personally would like to have a ‘GL only’ statistics page that includes: days since last time member logged in, days since last time member represented, number of guilds member is currently in, and any other relevant information. (I had another important one but forgot and will edit this as soon as i remember.) Also GW1 had a great system where the last member to logout was moved to the top of the ‘offline list’. That by itself would be very useful, as deleting the bottom 10-20% (or whatever depending on guild size) was a relatively safe way to manage guild rosters though GW1 had a low max member limit so wasting slots was not acceptable for guilds, but you couldnt halfazz it in 5 different guilds either. O.o Which is just a crazy, chaotic, and overall detrimental “freedom” for the health of guilds and encourages “Sam’s Club/Costco” guilds leaving the smaller ones very little room to grow.

You can also check their achievement points on the leaderboard, it display when they last earn an achievement point. Though not completely accurate about when they last log on, but it gives some indication.

After this check, you will find out a few member who has not earned a single achievement point in a few months. It is a necessary (but not sufficient) condition to indicate that that member might not be active.

This process helps to eliminate the possibility of the currently active members from your potential kick list. You will then only have to send out a few mail to those who haven’t earned their achievement point to check if they are active.
