Is there a chance that we get additional legendaries sooner or later?

Because looking at the legendaries for my engineer I could live with the rifle, but since I prefer playing with pistols it’s really clear to NOT go for a legendary.

In my opinion the legendary should be a cool looking item, but the pistol is a joke under that terms.

I think we should have at least 3 legendary choices for each weapons, really.

Cute one.
Cool one.
Bad kitten one.

I think the categories should be more along the lines of “funny”, “good”, and “evil”, but I agree. I like “joke” legendaries like Quip and the Moot, but none of the weapons I use most often have funny skins.

Pretty much this, lol. I would like the shortbow—but come on…really?

Seems wierd that the short bow looks like it was made for a meser, and mesmers can’t even use it.

I would like there to be more legendary weapons. None of the weapons really appeal to me that I use on my ranger. My ranger is a Charr. I don’t want a bow that looks like a unicorn or a bush.

What Kojiden said. My Elementalist is a Charr..and you want me to use a rainbow staff?

They are already working on it according to wiki, and they usually get these things from the developer notes so, we gata just wait it out. I really hope they add a cool dagger skin that is more stealthy looking less bright flame.

I just want 1 awesome short bow.. no more garbage bad looking designs… Sorry for me there is nothing to grind… I’m ranger fan, and i play only ranger because i can’t get bored of this class. But holy molly where the hell on this earth did you come up with pony bow??? Seriously ? a pony rainbow shooter Ranger long bow is not used so often, so i’m kinda not interested in grinding 2nd hand weapon to be legendary… i would like to have one awesome short bow which would be truly legendary… I think joke items should be in store section… that’s just my opinion.. sorry i’m not a fan of disney land .. pfshhh

Hey, all of them can’t be manly weapons. I figure the bow is nice if you want a cute character; and ponies are bad-kitten sir! I’m a guy and I’d be proud to wield that bow

I am still waiting for new kitten skin for legendary mace which will join my legendary shield. The Moot is a joke.

Instead of new legendary skins (which would be nice though), i’d rather see some improvements on some of the current legendary skins and effects. It seems that they’ve put too much energy into some, and a lot less in others.

Some legendaries do not have the image of one. Focus for example is purely a skin without effects or sounds.

A lot of the legendaries have footsteps in the shape of ice, fire or sky etc. I’d like to see footsteps for all legendaries, since that is a very basic trademark of a legendary. You pay a lot and play a lot to get one, it’s a shame that you’d get rewarded with just a skin to be honest. Certain effects that give the legendary status should be universal for all legendaries.

Same goes for offhand legendaries. When you’re wielding the torch legendary (offhand only) it gives you fire or lava footsteps. But wielding the shield legendary gives you nothing. Little runes (new krytan alphabet?) lighting up on the ground with every step would make many more people want the shield for example.

So ya, instead of more skins, i’d love to see legendaries improved and given some equal love from designers, especially if it comes to footsteps and other effects.

Slight problem: You’re an ele, and you have an incinerator and an improved minstrel. If they both have footsteps… That sort creates a graphical issue, as you can’t have both footsteps at the same time. I agree on that effects need to be improved, but all having footsteps might not work exactly. Unless they make it so each footstep (left and right) shows both of them seperated.

Not sure how they solved this problem, but the torch is an offhand weapon, and it gives you lava footsteps. It has a bug though with the frostfang where one footstep isn’t seen or something?

I would love to see a new legendary pistol skin with a silencer and little rounds pop out the side when you shoot it. Also a purple/blue glowing dagger along the lines of the Moonshank skin. I really want a dark and sinister looking dagger, not something that looks MADE for elementalists.
