Has Anet considered adding more music instruments to the game, such as guitars, flutes, drums, keyboards, trumpets, etc.?
I could see it being a very good cash maker for Anet imho. Selling them only at the gem store. You could probably make more actually money if you released all the intsruments at once instead of one at a time. That way people couldn’t save up enough gold to buy the next release and we all know the majority of people are the “want-it-now” type of folk.
I highly doubt this could hurt the game in terms of balance, players might whine saying they don’t want people spamming it in town and what not, but you could always add an option that allows the player if they want to mute in-game player instruments. This could probably even start player bands in the game which could be kind of fun. I wouldn’t think Anet could get into any copyright laws either since you are just providing the instrument. You would have to fix the annoying moaning and air wooshing noises the bell currently has tho.
All I ask is you give me 0.5% of the profits you make from this idea Anet, that sounds fair doesn’t it?
You are sitting on a potential gold mine Anet, this idea would only take a little bit of programming, probably less then any event you release and will probably make you more money than any other item you currently sell in the gem store. All I ask is you don’t forget where you got this idea from.
Also, after the release, if you still want to make more money, different instrument skins. You can think me later. (I honestly would like a small, small percentage of the profits
