Once you reach level 80, everything becomes a matter of cosmetics.

That being said, there are so few weapon/armor skins that are good looking it’s created cookie cutter styles everywhere. Take a group of people that are level 80 and you are absolutely guaranteed to find most people look exactly the same, or at least very similar. There is absolutely no cosmetic diversity to this game.

My suggestion is simple: make weapons and armor look good; and make more of them. I would be 100x happier if new weapon/armor sets were being added regularly compared to the boring “living story” content that frankly is completely forgettable.

Beauty is in the eye of beholder. What you may call “out of style” I call fasionable. There are soo many different armor styles that can be mixed and matched, just because you may see an outfit doesn’t mean you should follow it. You should suggest more skin themes, not “good skins” because they are already out there for most people (they just released radiant and hellfire btw).

NinjaEd, can it. You are only fooling yourself. Anet ought to add A LOT more armour sets, because I reckon that especially with so many good games being launched in the end of this year, GW2 will lose a significant amount of players because it became boring and provides no challenge. Give us something to try and get. Make us feel baadass while walking around with some neat armour. Especially the medium and heavy types need more variation. Please, add +- 5 more GOOD-LOOKING sets per armour type, Anet!

I don’t know which server you play in, in mine there isn’t 2 players looking alike, not high level anyway (and yes, that means bellow 80).
The mix and match of sets is amazing in this game, add the colors to it and I cannot work out where are you coming from.
