heck, while we’re at it, humans too. just get tucked right up there on a norn’s shoulder and carried around.

As a Norn, I’ll go for this if we can wear Asurans so they look like Quaggan backpacks.

Asura riding a Norn sounds a lot like Goblin Alchemist from Dota 2. Just saying.

What if they made like a “Racial compatability” skill… Like norns could pick up asuras and gain 50% faster movement speed and run as fast as possible while the asura has to hold on for dear life. Or if the norn could pick up an asura and lauch it

And the Asurans player would have to balance to stay on.

In return, Norns should be able to punt Asuras around like chickens in the Fable series of games.

LMAO, they’d have to add some kind of interaction ability between every race, then (to keep it fair).

There was or is an MMO that does this called Perfect World, or maybe its Forsaken World. If you can fly, you can carry a single person and fly them him/her around. If you turned into a four legged creature, you can have someone mount on you for a ride.

Its a fun idea no doubt, but I’m pretty sure they would not use this because the world already has “fast travel” by means of teleporting, especially how easy it is to get “dat money”.

i really wasn’t thinking any kind of boon or perk from the interaction, other than sheer fun factor. idk- if it needed to have a ‘point’ to it, i suppose it could, but then.. dancing doesn’t particularly have a ‘point’ to it either! XD

but yeah- just to be able to right-click a norn and ‘request mount’— and if they say yes, they can pick up my minime and i get a free ride! visions of my little asuran’s bobblehead bouncing around on its little neck as the great norn warrior strides epicly across the frozen wastes….

I played Perfect World before. Basically in this game, a male player can carry a female one in his arms. Or, they can ride a mount together(the guy takes control of the mount and the girl simply sits behind him). It’s actually quite fun, especially for couples. Perhaps, gw2 can do something similar. For example using the broom costume, perhaps one player can give another a ride? (Right now we have a costume weapon that we can throw roses for other players to catch, so it’s definitely possible)
