To cut the story short (nobody likes walking story) I would like to be able to mount the supply yak in WvWvW maps only, and have a ride, with the option of auto-pilot.

When mounted the player can use range weapons and enemy players can only target the rider and not the beast, so you have to knock off the rider first.

I imagine some nice animation of the rider landing on his butt to go along this idea.

This wouldn’t break any game balance, since you walk with the speed of the beast, you are limited of the auto-piloted course and you are limited to your range weapons only.

In the future if this gets implemented, I imagine upgrades that you buy with the badges like: speed buffs, cosmetic stuff for the yak or even a different mount, like those beasts used by the Pact forces in Orr.

What’s the point, just auto-walk if you can’t be bothered walking, it’s going to take way longer and it won’t take you to your destination.
Very silly idea in my opinion.
