You didn’t even bother skimming the first page of this forum long enough to realize there’s another mount thread… Try that next time.
The topic has been beaten to death, resurrected, beaten to death, turned into a risen, burned to the ground, grown into a tree, and chopped down.
Long story short: The developers are aware that there are some people who want them, some who don’t, and some who don’t care whatsoever. There’s been no indication that mounts will be introduced in the future (at least not in the next few months), but there has also been no decisive “No mounts ever” statement from the devs. Too lazy to search for it, but one developer mentioned that there would not be any mounts introduced in the Flame & Frost story arc.

I think they have previously stated that there will be no mounts in this game. Can’t be bothered to find the source tho.

Well when you find the time to bother, hit us up with that link. Until that time I will go with the knowledge from already reading from source that mounts are not planned at this time, and no dev has ever said there will never be mounts.
More proof of that, we already have a cosmetic mount the broomstick. Which makes that statement even more void.
It just won’t stop will it? Day after day, another bloody mount thread. Give the small group of overtly-vocal, entitled whiners a cosmetic mount and they’ll demand a mount with stats. Give them a mount with stats and they’ll demand flying mounts. Give them flying mounts and they’ll demand $15 mounts a la WoW. Where does it end?
ANet need to make a clear statement on this so that these threads can be finished off once and for all.

You know the devs have said somewhere that mounts are not going to be placed in the game in due part to the waypoint system, although I am not looking for the link or comment. Secondly I can tell you right now in a interview the developers did say they will never put in Flying mounts to the game, on due part to vistas and trivializing world exploration. Now as far as regular ground mounts sure keep a hopeful glee that they will one day wowatize the game and put mounts in so be it. Although I am seriously doubting that, lets see if I eat my own words.
Untill then please learn to use the search function and stop making duplicate repeat threads, just cause there is more threads doesn’t mean they will do it. That is a child’s mentality, my 9 year old try’s that figures if he ask enough he will get it which he never does. You figure after his 16 year old brother tells him it wont work he would stop, nope because the mentality of a child is cry cry beg beg till I annoy you enough you say yes. So I guess if people have a childish demeanor and mentality they should keep making more and more threads about it.
