Hey guys, what are your opinions on an “Armor Switch” key? Much like switching weapons, this could come in handy when in a tight situation. However, there is probably a greater restriction to it, such as only allowed when not in combat. This would allow for more diversity and make keeping track of sets of armor(eg. magic find armor, etc).

Armor switch? I dunno. Feels like you don’t really need it. I mean, you can’t retrait on the fly, your armor is usually fitted with prefixes and runes that work together with your role and traits. Or was it the weapon?

I would like it. I have different armor sets for different situations in PvE and WvW. Sometimes Im running full power/precision, other times I switch to full toughness/vitality for specific bosses/sieges, etc. It would be easier to just hit a hotkey then manually switch out each piece of gear.

I would like this myself. I don’t do pvp, but I do have different gear that I use soloing from what I use in dungeons. I’m kinda lazy so having a simple toggle for that would be nice.

I would like to be able to pre-load different sets so they don’t take up room in my bags…

For example, one set for WvW, one for Farming and one for Dunegons.

If you are talking about armorswitch during combat, then I don’t like the idea. Weapon switch makes kind of sense. You just seath your sword and pull out your bow instead. But armor switch? In the heat of combat, you take of your pants and boots and shirt and everything and don your other armor, that you were keeping… somewhere on you… I wouldn’t appreciate anything like that.
