I’d like to see musical instuments added to the Gem store. they’d work like weapons but only with town clothes. you’d get a bunch of short riffs with each one, plus 1 short tune for skill 5.
They could be one themed to each race.
Asua Electomagical guitar
Charr war drum
Human violin, or maybe trumpet
Norn Lyre, or an alpine horn of some kind
Sylvari Harp or flute.

Neat idea. I’ll add in recorders, lutes, and reed instruments such as oboes to the list of possibilities.

Now to figure out how to avoid a horrid cacophony in crowded cities …

I wonder if it would be better to give people the ability to play notes or sort tones? On the one hand a player can then craft their own song, on the other hand not everyone is very good with music… You could expand this concept with having world events or a quasi-crafting system for learning new tunes.

If you want musical instruments, they should also add other things…don’t know what xD but not everybody can or should be a musician IMO…
