So seeing as Anet appears to want a content drop every month… i wrote this.
also, i’m not an anet hater… i love you guys and i love guild wars.(1 and 2). personally, ive paid hundreads for these event minis… its not like i dont support you or anything… if u say i hate anet, you clearly didnt read this and should go elsewhere.lol
im also no stranger to programming, or game programming. i know exactly how hard some things can be to implement, thank you for what you have created
1. Monthly content drop? great. make events last the whole month.
2. RNG collectables? sure go ahead… just please add a direct, not random buy for them as well. charge out the wazoo if u feel its necessary to direct buy.
3. with things like the 5 craftable minis but we only get enought to make 2…. this system is just confusing… reward us a mini instead of the mats to make it.
4. No timed events… this creates havok especially on your servers that crash every holiday. instead make all content available day 1. make us do missions in a certain order if need be, but let us pace ourselves.
5. stop focusing on the mystic forge every event. its involvment every event is nothing more than cheesy at this point, story wise.
6. find a system that allows the new patch to be uploaded to servers while the current one is running. and then when its time flip the switch. id like to think you already have this sorta thing in place already… but its always last minute with uploads.
7. have the content finished and tested at least a week before it goes live. cant test it by then? dont release it. infact please cancel whatever your plans are for january.
