My Top Ideas, Concerns and Questions
First cheers for a great game.
1. I think that when you mouse over a window it should come to the front layer. This could be automatic or have a toggle on off feature in options. The reason is simple. It can be a pain to swap out items from the Hero panel to and from inventory and as well as transmutations etc.
2. Titles are a big issue for me. Because I cant see mine or the 100% world completion star next to my name I think that it’s very unfulfilling and a very serious major let down. They are so tucked away to myself and even others that they have become completely uninteresting to get. It was titles that made the first guild wars really interesting and pushed people to play and enjoy their accomplishments. Please don’t give titles a back seat anymore.
3. When you made the game you stated that no race has an advantage over another, speed, etc. I disagree. Camera views in jumping puzzles create a larger challenge and make a disadvantage for Norns over Humans and especially Asurans. I cant speak for Char who are rather large also but I would assume might have some issues. If this is to difficult to fix, the rewards for those races should have a very low but slight increase. . . or something. I know you are working on correcting or working on camera views. I hope you keep this in mind and maybe add 1st person view.
4. WvW is no fun when you keep walking into zergs that is invisible due to rendering. Sadfaces everywhere. [Ctrl][Alt][Delete] Other wise that’s for this feature to game play.
5. The crafting window should be resizeable. The names of the items exceed the length of the window making it more difficult to quickly tell (master) from (rare), (exotic) etc. Maybe moving the rarity of the item (insignia, etc) to the front of the description would be a quick option. The window has a bottom corner size adjuster but doesn’t work.
6. Legendary Precursors have reached the realm of unfairness and should be craftable. I don’t care if they cost 50g, 100g, 1/2 million karma. . They should be craftable in some fashion. The current market is being controlled and in my opinion abused over this.
7. Black Lion Chests need a serious buff or should be sell-able to the merchant. I’ve opened a share of them. Based on the current market value of gems to gold why would I by a key from the gemstore? You can only lose out. I sell the chests on the trading post for about 5 copper to get my inventory spot back since it has more value.
8. In the last week I have reported around 100 bots with a support ticket and screen shots. I was easily finding about 50 an hour in high level areas. Thanks for taking care of those i reported on my server. I think a lot of players are becoming more and more upset with how things on this issue are going. They use in game report systems and see no results on the same bots who are being reported over and over again for weeks.
Over a month ago you made a statement addressing this issue and since then it became far worse. I have seen a dip in the last week but they are still going in lower lvl areas now. Many players are upset that you appear to be changing difficulties in high lvl areas and lowering drop rates to people who are taking the time to actually play the game and save up for seeming impossible legendary weapons. You have to expect us to grind to get these weapons. You cant expect us to have to deal with it becoming harder and harder because of bots that aren’t being removed. This is extremely disheartening to game play. When bots are reported over and over in game again and nothing happens most people think you don’t care. I gave up and started opening support tickets but why should i spend an hour putting together a support ticket with 20 screenshots attached to it to report 50 people? That’s not me playing and enjoying the game at all. It’s me being frustrated and getting closer to logging out.
Maybe you would like to provide us a more then general update on this situation since it’s been over a month?
Ultimately in game Anet Mangers are a excellent defense at least while you get a system based on data working.
8. Last but def not least .. . . .. . We absolutely NEED a Quaggan Mini pet !!! (an uncorrupted one =D ) Please make it common! Cooooo, Quaggan loves you!
