I would be happy if there wasn’t 3 maps that looked the same with annoying cliffs all about the place.
Prefer EB since it is less cliffs, but still challangeing with good flow.

A floating Asura cube fortress.
Underneath it are the power generators, which you have to destroy in open field combat.
Once you destroy the power generators, the cube crashes down to the ground.
Then you can attack the gate.

It has laser cannons/mortars and the Lord is a golem.

WvW needs more map variation. Here what’s on my mind.

Naval Warfare:
1) Sailing our own ships / galleons (we need to use more cannons in wvw… they are relatively insignificant to arrow carts)
2) Defending beachheads (/w towers + keeps but has typical Lion’s Arch building concept http://i.imgur.com/wv1Q6Q7.jpg)
3) Stormy weather…
4) Pirates (mercenaries)
5) Camps (coves or random isles)
6) More aquatic weapons
6.5) More underwater combat.

Sky Warfare
1) Airships http://i.imgur.com/NWW5Ix7.jpg & http://i.imgur.com/t2hk0sV.jpg
2) Colossal mountains / colossal structures, floating terrain (/w towers & keep)
3) Tengu, harpy mercenaries

I hope you have lots of patience. ANet hasn’t even been able to drain the lakes in the BLs yet, and what you’re asking for takes way more programming than that.

Easy change of map:
Green BL: garrison is now in bay line, bay and hill is now hill. (They are the first anyway)
Blue BL: all keep is hill (valley lake)
Red BL: garrison is hill, bay and hill is bay (which can be trebbed from garrison)

They should have it as follows…

1. Red (3rd place) map has a heavily guarded garrison and camps/yaks when Red.
2. Blue (2nd place) map has a heavily guarded garrison when Blue, and heavily guarded camps/yaks when Blue or Red.
3. Green (1st place) map has heavily guarded camps/yaks when Blue or Red.

Of course, the rewards could be adjusted to take this into account.

FoW as the center map.

5x Warrior, 5x Ranger, 4x Elementalist, 4x Engineer,
4x Necromancer, 3x Mesmer, 4x Guardian, 4x Thief, 4 Revenant

I totally subscribe to the naval warfare and zeppelin battles. Imagine two ships closing in on each other while players use cannons and all their ranged attacks to wreak havoc.

And Zeppelins. This is doable. In Orr you see hundreds of zeppelins fighting in the skies.

I like to see different map sizes. My hope is that samller map would have more zerg encounters for people like zerg fights. Bigger map can have both zerg fights but also small group fights.

Another idea is each map have some kind of effects over other maps by being the strongest server. With 1 example would be there is a map called farm land and by being the strongest server on this map will give more dolyaks over all the maps. Thus gets more supply deliveries.

Elementalist lover since GW1. It’s the only profession I play!
